Dr. Michal S. Maimon is a pediatrician and a researcher, the former head of the pediatric ER in Soroka University Medical Center, and is currently the Child Abuse Pediatrician and Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician, and the Director of child abuse and Neglect team and the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Soroka University Medical Center. She is also the Leading physician of “Beit Lynn”, Child Advocacy Center in Beer Sheva, Israel. Dr. Maimon completed her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine in The Hospital of Sick Children, Toronto, Canada, and her clinical training in child abuse in Los Angeles County/the University of Southern California Violence intervention. She published several articles in the medical literature and won a fellowship and research grants.
