​Originally from the Washington, DC area, Michele is a 4th year medical student at the Medical School for International Health program at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She completed a B.S. in Neuroscience as well as Dance at Tulane University in New Orleans, and then subsequently worked in Cambodia for three years as a Community Health Educator with Peace Corps before moving to Israel to begin her medical degree. She is planning on entering the field of Pediatrics after graduation and hopes to work together with local communities for advocacy and prevention.
